Pedaling Towards Wellness:Cimas Health Group Promotes Healthy Living

Cimas Health Group has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering healthier communities through top-notch health and wellness solutions.
At the iGo Pedal 2 Wellness event held at their Borrowdale Offices on Saturday Head of iGO Cimas wellness division Dr Willmore Kapuyanyika emphasised the importance of preventative healthcare through physical activity.
Dr Kapuyanyika said the Pedal-2-Wellness aims at promoting cardio fitness and raise awareness on drug and substance abuse within communities
"This initiative aligns perfectly with our goal of promoting a healthier lifestyle ,community engagement and support for improving overall quality of life", he stated.
Dr Kapuyanyika highlighted Cimas commitment to empowering members with health tips,nutritional advice and personalised fitness plans.
"Our team of healthcare professionals are available to offer guidance and monitor progress and we also host wellness workshops and events that focus on different aspects of health from mental well-being to diet and exercise",he stated.
The head of iGO added that through the iGO programme Cimas members enjoy discounts from various value partners ranging from supermarkets,gyms,health spas,hair salons and coffee shops.
Meanwhile Tawanashe Makosa , a 12 year old student from Westridge High School praised Cimas for promoting healthy living and addressing substance abuse through the well-organised event.
He completed the 22.5km in the social category demonstrating the initiative's impact on youth and children.

The event was held under the theme "Pedal against Drug and Illicit Trafficking" and proceeds from the Pedal 2 Wellness will be channelled to the Chikurubi Pyschiatric Unit.
